Email info@optimustech.co.uk with the subject “Data rights request” or “Privacy complaint”. This route is available to account users, invoice recipients and other affected people.
Privacy notice version 2026-08-23
What to include
- Your name and an email address where we can respond.
- The company workspace involved, if known.
- Whether you want access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or to make a complaint.
- Enough detail to locate the information—never send a password, full card number or unnecessary identity document.
What happens next
The responsible controller should respond without undue delay and normally within one month of receiving the request, or within one month of receiving proportionate information requested to confirm identity or a representative’s authority. For a complex request or several requests from the same person, that period can be extended by up to two further months where the law permits; the requester must be told about the extension and reasons within the initial month.
Identity information should be requested only where there are reasonable doubts and only to the extent necessary. If the request concerns data controlled by a customer company, it may need to be referred to that company; Optimus Invoicing will provide processor assistance once the production data-processing terms and contact process are completed. A request can be limited or refused only where law permits, with the required explanation and complaint information.
Independent complaint
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address the concern first, but contacting us is not a condition of approaching the regulator.
